the hippest nightlife area in krakow is a revitalized former jewish district named kazimierz. and apparently the polish like to look at art while drinking, judging by how much art history serves as a decor element in the bars around there.
a very cute bar in the area, named the singer, can be easily recognised by the sewing machines on the tables of their front room.
